Leadership development programmes

If you think you are a leader, and you look over your shoulder and there isn't anyone following you, you are just taking a walk.

This underpins our approach to leadership and systems leadership development. 

We will work with you to design, develop and deliver a bespoke programme that considers the inter-relationships between understanding yourself, your role and the context in which you are operating 

  • Achieving collaborative advantage from working in partnership is more important than ever in a time of scare resource. Our experience tells us that challenges that we have not been able to tackle alone may benefit from taking a partnership approach.
  • Ensuring a 'pipeline' of talented future leaders is part of our development and succession planning work
  • We have experience of designing and delivering leadership development programmes that range from single day workshops to 12 month programmes with a blend of 'face to face', online, visits, placement and accredited assignments.
  • We are experienced at working closely with clients to design and deliver a range of leadership development programmes.


Examples of our leadership programme work with multi agency partnerships: 

  • Co-facilitating five cohorts of the Advanced Leadership in an Integrated Children’s Service Environment (ALICSE) Programme in the East Midlands.
  • Design and facilitation of theme based workshops for Local Authority and Teaching Schools colleagues.
  • Designing, hosting and facilitating multi-audience online webinars for the Department for Education.

Examples of our Programmes for individual teams and services.

  • Designing and delivering a series of two day events for a voluntary sector organisation.
  • Designing and delivering a series of linked workshops for a Public Health Service.
  • Co-designing and delivering a four stage development programme for 90 Group Managers and 360 Team Leaders across all services in a Local Authority.

Examples of our work with School Leaders and Aspiring School Leaders include design and delivery of:

  • Four cohorts of the 'Aspire to Headship' programme in the West Midlands.
  • Workshop sessions for the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH).

  • Co-design and facilitation of the ILM accredited Diploma in School Business Management (DSBM).

Examples of our work with Local Authority Leaders and Aspiring Local Authority Leaders 

  • Design and co-facilitation of 5 cohorts of 'My Leadership Futures' in the West Midlands.
  • Design and facilitation of the 'Senior Leadership Programme' in the East of England.
  • Design and delivery of skills for Peer Challenge and Saefguarding Assurance Visits in the East Midlands.
